But I Like Rocky Road!
The truth about relationship sex over time is that it's rather vanilla, unless sex is all the relationship is based on. Over the years, gone are the week-long sex fests; the hours long lovemaking that neither your stamina nor your creativity can keep up with; the tension of the choice and new interaction. With all of that said, that's the undeniable beauty of sex over time. 2 hour long lovemaking is to make sure that every move is used to show our ability (to peacock), while years later all of the events have been condensed down to all the best parts; like cutting a film for production. Emotions add to the steam train in the beginning - a furious fire to fornicate without remorse. As things go along, the more tender side of emotions set forth, with even the act itself can seem otherworldly - a charge of static to the spine (and loins, of course). Your partner learns your most sincere likes and dislikes - no more baring with scraping to get to the next level. There is a satisfying oneness in a quick fling that pumps the ego and reinvigorates us (to find a mate). Years later, it is a dance of subtelties, innuendos and approraite actions taken. A soothing, gentle ride that brings peace to your mind and a song to your heart. The chase has it wonder, but long term satisfaction can only be provided by a long term commitment.

Hazy Recollection
It all began with the thrust of the unknown,
A euphoric phase of discovery that thrives
On it's own beliefs laid beside the facts.
Time seems to slow and create a tunnel
Of moments and movements that are,
In each thought, completely absorbed.
Mind dancing and unstable, exposed
Focus is on each aspect of the portrait
In order to preserve the overall addition.
A calm settles across my soulspace,
The antidote to self sacrifice
Finally at hand.
A tad further, the brain begins to gel
And focus is slowly restored.
However, Am I better off for
The variety of distractions?
Or should I return to the smaller space
For a joyful day?

Bipolar Paradise
What an amazing weekend I just had in the land of sin, palm trees and artificial turf (a sin in its own right). Parading the strip and experiencing so many great things that "ordinary life" doesn't offer. If you have never been to Las Vegas- let me give you a verbal tour.
The first thing you notice about Vegas is the hotels. There are so many of them, but many are owned by the same conglomerates. Even so, each architectural truimph holds its own unique majesty from the outside. Once inside, they turn up the creative dial to offer you visually appealing and interesting decor that shows that no expense was spared in the creation of this as adult wonderland. Eveything you see - from the many lights to decoration pieces to the design of the clubs to the walkways through the casino is designed to titilate and awe you. Constant movement, constant variety, constant sound.
The next thing you notice is the strip itself - everywhere you go there are speakers pumping a soundtrack for you - how peculiar. It's almost like the whole city is just an enormous club in the middle of the desert.
It is.
As you traverse the strip, you get the feeling that "sin city" is more like "vice city". (Not the game!) Smokers still wander around proudly puffing their way to cancer, people are wondering the streets with 60 oz liqour containers of their favorite libations - tripping and stumbling their way through the night (and days), more (and more horrible) food options than you can imagine, the occasional smell of 420 and the sex cards advertising all the "private dances" you can imagine. Did I mention there is also occasionally a gambling spot? Starting in the AIRPORT. This is a town built on satisfying your every desire (or FANTASY, as it were) within a few mile long stretch of buildings. You have the nightclubs (that may as well be raves) that you have seen on many movies and thought, "I want to be THERE." Strip clubs that dwarf your home by comparison. People who exist only to wait on you hand and foot as the actors in this mad debaucherous dynasty. Shows for every taste and variety. Heck, there's even an attraction that is just "old vegas" kept in tact with new Vegas out there; on the horizon. If one can go to Vegas and stay in their motel room; they either have a heroin addiction or the strength of Job. Also, they are costing themselves one of the greatest times of their life.
Just do it, people. I love this place and can't wait to return!

Sex Done Right
A lot of things lately have been related to the tender oneness of a man and a woman; and it has made me really think about how amazing sex can be when done right. I'm no religuos moralizer; but I think the answer is clear:
Sex is done best when two people are in love.
There is certainly a place for the animalistic sex that attraction brings. There is a way to have sex for fun and it still be good. Hell, I've even done it because there's NOTHING that is beter to kill time than a wham-bam. (If you take longer than 5 minutes) However, to get it to it's most toe-curlingest; heart racingest; after sex glowingest best - love is it, people. Love brings with it all the things that make sex awesome - comfort, security, openness, a need to please - and of course, our diddly parts. It's about being comfortable enough to take the time to truly enjoy the experience; not get on with the act to "squirt" across the finish line. I have never sought to rush sex - it's so amazing enjoying the woman of my dreams - her delicate curves, her gorgeous face, the way her body moves just so when we are riding to the crest of intimacy. Sex is (to me) a very physical form of love, appreciation and wonder.... magic in modern times.
Please let me know what your thoughts are! Have a great night - and good sexing!!
